Parents complain that children these days are too immersed in digital world. They really are not out playing physical games, interacting personally and experimenting physical things. Digital mediums has bought a whole new level of abstraction and simulation that really don't facilitate physical interactions and enable experience learning. Hence, children do not act the opportunity to learn science, complimentary skills like social protocols etc by actually doing it or encountering them in day to day life.
