color necklace/bracelet that lights different colors depending on quality of conversation

cup holder with RFID and bluetooth so contact info is passed through clinking of glasses
sound visor on face that beeps according to where the sound is, mics on belt corresponds to vibration motors on forehead/visor
ultrasonic sensors on feet - advancing the walking stick, scanning with feet/hands
heating gloves to equilibrize the outside environment and inner temperature
eyes on your hands, ears on hands, echolocation for deafs
which led to:
Foot Controlled Arm: third arm controlled by feet through pressure pads on shoe soles
Medusa Eyes: three camera along the ears/head that would enhance your vision through night vision, thermal vision and facial recognition. User would also wear visor with LCD that displays the name of people, the temperature, etc.
We decided to go with the idea of using your shoes as an interface. More specifically using pressure pads in the sole of your shoe to control a robotic arm. Specific applications are still in the works but it could be helpful for amputees, or regular people who just want an extra set of hands.
We prototyped the functionality using a servo arm and four pressure pads. The servo arm had to joints and two links. Two pressure pads controlled the forward and reverse motion of each joint respectively.
Next step is to try it in a shoe!
